Position
Summary:
Responsible for assisting Manager, Communications withSnap-on Tools communicationprogram, including all product, motorsports, awards and events press releases and related activities. Research, write, produce and distribute communications electronically or in printed form for Snap-on Tools associates and franchisees. Produce and execute other focused communications projects as needed.
Key Tasks:
Review, route and track all press releases through the process.
MaintainSnap-on Tools awards program. Including the coordination, writing, editing, approval and submission of entries.
Coordinate with the Manager, Communications to ensure the PR Plan is executed and up-to-date.
Manage Snap-on Tools franchisee/associate bio and image database. Produce executive (CEO) briefing binders and provide support for events as needed.
Write and edit focused communications including National Franchise Advisory Council (NFAC) newsletters, promotional and support materials for national franchisee conference.
Create and update process documents related to activities in the group.
Coordinatelogistics planning and support for franchisee, associate and retiree events as needed.
Execute other projects as required.
Requirements:
Minimum bachelor's degree in journalism, communications or related field.
Strong editor and writer with three (3) tofive (5)years' experience in producing communications in a business, agency, or newspaper environment. Includes all research, interviewing, writing and editing necessary to produce finished product.
Attention to detail -being careful about detail and thorough in completing work tasks.
Strong grammar and proofreading skills. Knowledge of print production process helpful.
Creativity and a strong sense of design. Must be proficient with Word and Excel and be familiar with publishing software, such as InDesign. Experience in PowerPoint presentation software also a plus.
Solid understanding of the Internet required. Experience with html a plus.
Excellent organizational skills and ability to work independently while managing work load and meeting deadlines.
Excellent listening and interpersonal skills and ability to develop and maintain positive relationships.
Ability to travel and work flexible hours when needed.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
