The Senior Operations Manager manages Zebra's largest distribution center. This person is responsible to establish operational objectives and work plans, delegate assignments accordingly and determines how to use resources to meet schedules and goals. Manages human, financial, and often physical resources, and develops procedures and processes to attain unit goals. Substantial involvement in developing, modifying and executing company policies that affect immediate operation(s) but which may also have company-wide effect. Represents the unit at meetings or on committees. Create and foster a relationship with Zebra's warehouse management company (GXO) to facilitate operational stability. This warehouse is located in Kenosha, Wisconsin. Responsibilities Directly manage US-based 3PL outsourced fulfillment center operations 400K sqft with an annual operating budget of approximately $30M. Responsibility for executing pick, pack, ship, and valuable postponement activities that service a global customer base Lead conversations with 3PL and other service partners to deliver high quality performance including opportunities for cost savings, and support performance, applying appropriate risk mitigation strategies regarding warehouse/fulfillment capacity. Align resources, a shared vision, and a capability to embrace the new-and-different through automation, innovation, and digitization. Establish expectations and manage 3PL and key vendor compliance to shared values of inclusion, diversity, health, safety, and sustainability. Acts as prime consultant on large projects that affect the organization's long-term goals and objectives. Often must lead a cooperative effort among members of a project team. Implements strategic policies when selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results. Establishes and assures adherence to budgets, schedules, work plans and performance requirements Interpret and frame complex or specialized information for presentation to varied audiences. Interacts with key internal and external stakeholders in order to resolve complex problems. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications 10
years experience in supply chain operations including minimum 2 years as team supervisor/manager Strong leadership, management skills Strong verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills Experience with Lean and Six Sigma processes Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree
Salary Range:
$100K -- $150K
Minimum Qualification
Operations ManagementEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
