Talent Advisor/Recruiter

POSITION PURPOSE The Talent Navigator sources, identifies, processes, and hires employees for Froedtert South for highly competitive job markets.
Evaluates trends in recruitment and the job market to recommend recruitment and retention strategies.
Participates in career days, open houses, and other activities to attract qualified candidates.
Assists in preparing advertisements, screens applications, interviews qualified applicants, reviews references and arranges for second interviews with supervisory staff.
Evaluates the capabilities of candidates and negotiates starting salaries according to compensation guidelines.
Makes verbal job offers on behalf of Froedtert South.
Communicates the policies and benefits of Froedtert South and participates in the System-wide New Employee Orientation.
Advises and assists management staff in the application and interpretation of HR policies, legal compliance, grievances, and corrective action.
Conducts exit interviews with terminating employees, evaluating turnover and identifying retention problems and solutions from the data collected.
Performs special studies and recommends solutions to problems of recruitment, development, skills testing and related issues.
MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED Bachelor's Degree in:
Human Resources, Business, Social Services or related field MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED 3-5 years in Human Resources (required) 2 years of Recruitment experience including proficiency in the use of social media (preferred) LICENSES / CERTIFICATIONS REQUIRED N/A KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES REQUIRED Knowledge and experience with various computer programs/software including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint), HRIS, time recording system, online training and appraisal system, online applicant tracking system and the Internet are desired.
Experience with social media recruitment including Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, etc Excellent interpersonal and communication.
Effective negotiating skills.
Familiarity with online job hunting websites.
The physical, technical and cognitive ability to operate the following office equipment:
photocopier, computer, fax, digital camera and calculator.
Must be able to read, write, speak, hear and comprehend the English language.
PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES AND ESSENTIAL DUTIES Delivers full life-cycle recruiting which involves sourcing, screening, interviews, job offers and onboarding.
Demonstrates a pattern of effective, appropriate screening of applicants and performing interviews.
Processes and evaluates applications, reviews resumes, and prescreens and reviews reference checks on an electronic platform in a timely manner to ensure hiring managers are receiving the top applicant pool.
Ability to source candidates utilizing various websites and other resources to recruit top talent.
Follows up with the related clerical aspects of employment such as completing references, pre-employment physical and drug testing, employment forms, and notifying the department of the employees' starting date.
Completes weekly status report on employment and employee relations activity.
Presents the System-wide New Employee Orientation.
Evaluates trends in recruitment and the job market to recommend recruitment strategies.

Advises and assists management staff in the application and interpretation of HR policies, legal compliance, grievances and corrective action.
Reviews employee complaints and ensures timely documentation of concerns or issues.
Facilitates actions to resolve the employee issues and addresses them with the appropriate management team.
Supports employee retention as a resource and contact for employee engagement.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
