Our client, a growing high-speed food manufacturing company is looking for an experienced Maintenance Manager to join their operation in the Kenosha, WI area.

Responsibilities:
o Provide dynamic leadership and technical guidance for all maintenance operations within the bakery plant.
o Resolve complex technical maintenance challenges with analytical insight and proactive solutions.
o Foster a culture of safety, ensuring compliance with all environmental, health, and safety regulations to achieve a zero-injury workplace.
o Conduct thorough performance evaluations of the maintenance management team and implement tailored training programs for skill enhancement.
o Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to analyze data, generate reports, and enhance Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
o Administer and audit all maintenance safety control and environmental protection programs to ensure compliance.
o Design technical training initiatives for maintenance supervisors and mechanics to enhance skill sets.
o Develop short and long-term plans, objectives, programs, and budget controls for the maintenance department.
o Cultivate and maintain productive interdepartmental relationships to optimize workflow.
o Manage and attain established goals for the management of the Maintenance, Repair, and Operations (MRO) system and processes.
Qualifications:
o Proficiency in safety and environmental regulations at the state, federal, and local levels.
o Exhibit strong leadership, teamwork, and communication skills with adeptness in computer usage.
o Employ a participative management approach that empowers teams and cultivates excellent organizational and communication abilities.
o Demonstrated track record of building and leading fully functional teams.
o Cultivate a culture of mutual respect, teamwork, and professionalism in alignment with company values.
o Proficiency in teaching and implementing Continuous Improvement principles, including lean methodologies and operational discipline.
o Ability to articulate and implement a strategic vision, effectively communicating objectives for both short-term gains and long-term sustainability.
Education and
Experience:
o Minimum of five years of managerial experience in maintenance operations.
o Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering or related field preferred; High School Diploma/GED required.
o Conceptual understanding of PLC programming; proficiency in PLC programming is highly desired.
o Familiarity with lean methodologies or similar statistical process and control systems.
